General Introduction

• School uniform, of course, is not worn, but the values expressed by it remain.

• On campus we dress modestly within the general conventions of Jewish practice – the same applies on the trip.

• T-Shirts with offensive logos may not be worn.

• Shirts and T-shirts must have sleeves. No sleeveless tops and vest-tops. Sleeveless muscle-shirts or basketball tops may only be worn with a T-shirt underneath.

• Midriffs must always be covered.

• Knee-length trousers may be worn for the girls.

• Protection against the sun is a primary concern and therefore our most basic rule is that hats/baseball caps are always worn outdoors (during daytime!). Visors are not acceptable. Sun block appropriate to skin-type must always be applied.

• Do not bring any valuable items.

• You can bring with you up to $300 U.S. to spend for souvenirs and snacks on the trip. You will carry/have your money at your own risk. The school is not responsible for the money you bring.
