Tiberas And Mt Arbel

What an incredible day! We started off the morning by taking a hike on Mt. Arbel. We were able to marvel at the scenery as well as the beautiful flowers in bloom and we even met a few of the cows and goats that graze on Mt. Arbel's hillside.

Next, we visited Kfar Kedem, a small farm that helped us picture what it was like to live in Israel 1,800 years ago. To immerse ourselves into that period, we donned costumes from that era. Then we learned how to shear a goat, make cheese and throw our own pita. After a gorgeous lunch, we saddled up some donkeys and took a ride through the hillside.

There was no doubt, however, that we were firmly in the 21st century when we got to our next stop, the holy city of Tiberius. There we boarded a cruise on the Kinneret, and we danced and swayed to the latest Israeli dance music.

We just made our way back to the hotel, and as you can imagine, our day's adventure coupled with the jet-lag has made us all exhausted. We have limited tech resources here, but we hope to upload some pictures soon.

Until tomorrow.... Goodnight!
